Thrives in bright indirect light but can tolerate some shade. Too much light may scorch the delicate leaves and too little may cause them to turn yellow and drop.
Water & Food
During the warm seasons, water regularly so that the soil is always moist. Do not allow the soil dry out of be waterlogged (hence the medium care level).
During colder months, water less but still don't allow the water to dry.
Humidity & Temperature
They like normal room temperature with high humidity - feel free to use a plant mister (an old washed out kitchen cleaner spray bottle will do)
The Common Asparagus fern is actually a vine masquerading as a fern. Its true leaves are in fact tiny dry scales. The leaf-like structures are flattened shoots (modified stems) called cladodes which can bear flowers and fruits.
